The facilities include a Linear Accelerator with 3D conformal therapy, IMRT, two operation theaters, nuclear medicine, diagnostics and pharmacy. BIO has 80 beds, 55 specialized consultants and staff strength of over 500. BIO registers nearly 3000 new cancer patients in a year. The hospital is now recognized by the Diplomat of National Board for Radiation Oncology. |

To cater to growing demand for its services, BIO expanded by adding a new centre in Bangalore, ‘BIO specialty centre’. This centre houses an additional 60 medical oncology beds, a tertiary care ICU, and a bone marrow transplant unit. This Centre also houses the first PET-CT unit in the state of Karnataka and a NABL and CAP certified reference laboratory (details under Imaging and Diagnostics). |
